How to install Mars firmware
- Unzip Rar file; you will get v8x x8 mars firmware file
- To upgrade the v8x x8 mars firmware from the original v8x x8 firmware, you need to copy the backdoor.key and v8x v8 mars firmware files to the usb root directory.
- then enter the “upgrade by usb” menu, select the upgrade mode as ‘All code’, do upgrade.
Check Box ID
- Select Settings>Enter0000>Settings>AboutSTB> BOXID
- BoxID 14-digital displayis OK; note that you only need 10 last number of Boxid to activate Mars subscription.
- Note: 14-bit X below shows no network If the box id is XXXXXXXX, please check if your internet is normal, be sure to power on/off, thenwait a few more minutes.
Activate Mars subscription
- In the network options, select the CS Protocol menu, press 6666 to
open. - Select CSProtocol.
- Added CCCam 》Enter URL》Enter Port 》Enter Account》 Enter
Password. - Note: It can also be imported via USB, the file name is CCCam.cfg
